really really sad movie with the most awful things that go on!! an eye opener!! i cried when i watched this film!! the mother is a crazy horrible person!!
Watched this the other day. Makes the creepiest story on Law and Order Special Victims Unit look tame by comparison.
An American Crime is somewhat less graphic but no less disturbing really when realize it actually happened.

I question how any human being can do that. That poor girl was only 16 years old and she was burned, beaten, rapped, and branded. She had done nothing to deserve it she was even still a virgin when she was rapped. Such terrible human beings.
i watched this movie and it made me wanna scream HOW THE FUCK IS ANYONE THAT EVIL??? i wanna whack all those kids!! the saddest part is she didnt even live… i really hope that her soul is at rest…

based on a true story? omg, I bawled at the end…I was glad that she got hers and happy/sad that she died and wonders how the heck the sister is after that horrific ordeal.
to ISilverwolf’s comment : why go through all that trouble, when you can just take her in the woods, tie her to a tree, take a sledgehammer to her for 6 hours or until the hammer breaks, then go after them little brats with a blow torch a see how they like it.

oh are you talking about “An American Crime” with ellen page? i watched it just last week and it was just so scarring. i hated the part with the soda bottle it made me cringe. but its a true story so it made me cry… this movie has the same idea sort of

OMG no they didnt show it, they only showed her back when she did it and she was screaming and then somebody walks into the dar and for some reason you hear glass shatter.. cause i guess she dropped it. it was so scarring, i couldnt handle it, and i almost puked
