| this is overall a good product. i had to buy a new one after 4 years because the gasket broke i couldn't find a replacement. my husband uses it almost daily to make smoothies. great at crushing ice and blending drinks. only 2 problems with the dispensing spout--it leaks a bit after each use, so makes a bit of a mess during a party when i'm not being proactive. it also has to be taken apart completely to effectively clean/sanitize (although i can't find a way to remove the smell of bananas from the soft piece, even after soaking in soapy water) |

| Smelled hot while in use for very short time and leaves chunks of ice in smoothies. Did not work as discribed. Disappointed in products proformance. |

I use alot of frozen fruit and I usually have to break up the fruit that clumps together when its all thrown in the blender but once it gets going it blends nicely and does not leave any huge chunks behind. Super easy to clean, i noticed some other posting saying it is hard to clean but I have not had that experience at all.
I have gone through at least a 1/2 dozen blenders and ended up getting rid of them all because they never seemed to actually blend or break up the ice or fruit at all. I was very hesitant to purchase another one but with my newly diagnosed sugar allergy I desperately needed something to quench my sugar cravings and fruit smoothies was the best choice, hence the need for a blender. I did alot of research on blenders and read a lot of reviews and decided to try my luck with the wavestation and am so glad I did! |

| I purchased this blender, used it twice and it broke. Thank God I bought it here so I could return it within the 30 days of purchase. I called Hamilton Beach to see if I could get the broken part. They tried to charge me to buy a whole new blade section for more money on a product that broke within two weeks of use. Trust me, you don't want this product. |
